Aceh Gayo - Avatara Hendra Maulizar - Thermal Fermentation Washed

This year Gayo Avatara is back in our offerings to mark our 4th year buying coffee from Mr. Hendra of Gayo Avatara.

To start, we are releasing two coffee from our 2025 buying.

The first one is this Thermal Fermentation Washed. We love washed coffee, and we are that excited to release this coffee for you.

Thermal fermentation means during the fermentation the bags are put on a patio under the sun for a slightly warmer fermentation temperature to accelerate the growth of yeast and fermentation. The result is a washed coffee with a complex acidity.

In the cup you can expect notes of blackberries, white grapes, and green tea finish. If you're lucky you'll also find a subtle umami notes in the cup.
