Espresso - Flores Nati Anaerobic Natural (Exclusive Coffee)

End of August we managed to get ourselves into Manggarai. A coffee producing region located in the East Nusa Tenggara, Flores. It took about 4 hours drive from the Komodo International Airport to get into the our processors Tuang Bumi's facility in Ruteng, Manggarai.

We tasted this coffee in our cupping session back in Ruteng and at that time we were impressed by this coffee that we immediately book several kgs of this lot.

This particular coffee comes from their latest experiment. Starting this year they are fermenting the coffee inside a dark room. There's still ongoing reserach on how this fermentation are affecting the cups but so far we are tasting a very sweet interpretation of coffee from Nati Village, and this is our first time featuring coffee from this village in Flores.

In the cup it got nice intensity with notes of sweet red grapes, prunes, with a notes of soft tropical fruits.
